THE VOIDROID
The VoiDroid grows as does the industrial life in East LA. With arms of cranes lifting packages to be stored, electronic drones flying out shipments to peoples homes, the VoiDroid is a fast moving robotic warehouse changing the future one delivery at a time. The design emerges from the ground with three legs, and branches to six more towers above the main voids where the drones are located.
Found in the dense, urban East LA, the building sits right above N. Vermont Ave. in between the Hollwood Freeway. A cafe is located in the center of the void, where the main human circulation is located. On the same level, in all three voids offices are placed with full exposure to the surrounding landscape. And lastly, above all are the platforms where the drones pick up and deliver from.
